We’re delighted to share that our colleague Edo had the opportunity to attend the 10th Annual ICSA Conference (together with the Phaedon Institute SenoTherapeutics Summit) in Rome from 16 – 19 September 2025.
This event brought together leading researchers in the field of cellular senescence — spanning fundamental biology, biomarkers, translational research and therapeutics. It was a remarkable chance to learn from the very best in the field, engage with cutting-edge results, and bring fresh ideas back to our group.
In particular, Edo had the honour of presenting our work on chronic infections and cellular senescence — showcasing how infection dynamics and senescence biology intersect with immune regulation, host-pathogen interactions and long-term consequences. The feedback and discussions triggered at the meeting will help fuel our next steps.
