Marta Rampini

Marta graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the University of Padua in 2023. During her thesis project, she gained hands-on experience with phage display at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. She then completed a research fellowship at the University of Verona, focusing on the structure-to-function correlation of AADC variants in AADC deficiency. Following this, she moved to industry to explore the mode of action of antibody-based treatments against multidrug resistant bacteria.

In November 2025, Marta has joined the Infection Dynamics lab at INGM as a PhD student, where she is working on the development of targeted vaccine strategies with cell-derived nanoparticles.

Outside the lab, Marta is rarely at home: she loves exploring new places, attending events and spending time with friends.
