Beatrice Buzzi

Beatrice graduated in Biology at the University of Piemonte Orientale in 2022. She then obtained her master’s degree cum laude in Biology applied to Biomedical Research at the University of Milan in 2024, where she carried out her thesis project on neuropathic pain in a mouse model of a rare genetic disease. After graduation, she started a research fellowship focusing on the mechanisms regulating protein synthesis in tumor development, both in vitro and in vivo.

In 2025, she joined the Infection Dynamics group and started her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, during which she will expand her knowledge by studying the role of senescent T cells in the failure of immune responses during chronic infections.

Besides science, she enjoys travelling, doing sport and spending time with friends
