Postdoc opening

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to investigate how cellular senescence is induced during infection and how this state contributes to chronic bacterial persistence. Our research particularly focuses on the role of adaptive immunity and its interconnections with cellular senescence. The lab is developing a novel therapeutic approach that exploits senescence as a vulnerability, aiming to design antimicrobial strategies that selectively eliminate senescent, pathogen-harboring cells while sparing healthy tissues.
