Edo & Diego at the 2nd SENESCEL Meeting in Barcelona

In another exciting development, Edo and Diego recently participated in the 2nd Spanish Society of Cellular Senescence (SENESCEL) meeting in Barcelona — organised by the Spanish society dedicated to cellular senescence research.
This gathering offered a fantastic platform to deepen understanding of senescence from a European and specifically Spanish research community perspective. Edo and Diego engaged in sessions on senescence mechanisms, Epigenetic clocks, senescence-associated T cells, and their relevance in disease contexts. They also had the chance to discuss our group’s work on chronic infection and senescence, exchange ideas with peers and expand our collaborative networks.
Attending such a meeting helps keep our group at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field, and we’re eager to integrate the new insights into our work.
