We were thrilled to welcome Nobel Prize laureate Charles M. Rice to INGM for an outstanding seminar on his groundbreaking work on the Hepatitis C virus — the very research that earned him the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2020.
But the highlight didn’t stop there. After the seminar, the Infection Dynamics Lab had the privilege of sitting down with Prof. Rice for an informal conversation — a rare and memorable opportunity to seek advice and ask the kind of questions you can only ask someone who has truly made it, hoping to bring back some inspiration to our own journey in research.
Thank you, Prof. Rice, for your time, your science, and your generosity. Days like this are what make research truly exciting.
